Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced ELK Technical Lead to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in full-stack development, with strong expertise in the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and a proven ability to lead technical teams, design solutions, and interface with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers on ELK-based projects and initiatives.
• Design, develop, and optimize applications leveraging Elasticsearch for backend storage.
• Configure, manage, and evaluate ELK clusters, including indexing, search, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with Director-level technical and program leaders, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects.
• Drive requirement analysis, impact analysis, and implementation of best practices in ELK solutions.
• Develop custom visualizations in Kibana and configure Logstash for aggregation, filtering, parsing, and alerting.
• Integrate ELK Stack with technologies like PySpark, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and utilize GIT for source control.
Required Technical Skills
• Core Expertise (4+ years):
• ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana): Installation, configuration, and cluster management.
• Elasticsearch concepts: Index patterns, shards, replicas, Query DSL, KQL, and scripted fields.
• Logstash: Configuration, plugins (Grok, JSON, Mutate), aggregation, filtering, parsing, and alerting.
• Beats: Filebeat, Metricbeat, Heartbeat.
• Python programming and PySpark for data processing.
• Additional Skills:
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kafka integration.
• Full-stack development: JavaScript, AngularJS, React, NodeJS, TypeScript.
• Databases: Cassandra, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, CouchDB.
• Linux/Unix proficiency.
• Agile development practices and GIT for source control.
• Strong understanding of data analytics and best practices in ELK.
Preferred Skills :
• Experience with Java and front-end frameworks.
• Knowledge of integration between ELK, PySpark, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with advanced troubleshooting and analytical techniques in ELK environments.
