Qualification: MBBS and MD in Medicine or DNB,
Experience: Minimum 2 years post-PG experience as an Internal Medicine Doctor

Job Role and Responsibilities:
As an Internal Medicine Doctor, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, evidence-based healthcare. Key responsibilities include:
• Patient Care and Diagnosis:
• Diagnose, treat, and manage adult patients with complex internal medicine conditions, including cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine, infectious, and other systemic disorders.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and diagnostic findings.
• Critical Care and ICU Management:
• Manage critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including those requiring ventilatory support, hemodynamic monitoring, and other advanced interventions.
• Perform and oversee procedures such as central line insertion, arterial line placement, and lumbar puncture, as needed.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize patients.
• Diagnostic Interpretation:
• Interpret a wide range of diagnostic tests, including ECG, 2D Echocardiography, Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analysis, X-rays, CT scans, MRI, Doppler studies, and other laboratory results.
• Utilize diagnostic findings to guide evidence-based treatment decisions and optimize patient outcomes.
• Collaboration and Leadership:
• Work collaboratively with specialists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical guidance to junior doctors, residents, and support staff, fostering a culture of learning and teamwork.
• Participate in case discussions, morbidity and mortality meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Patient and Family Communication:
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognoses in a clear and empathetic manner.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Continuous Learning and Quality Improvement:
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in internal medicine through continuous medical education (CME) and professional development.
• Contribute to the hospital’s quality assurance programs, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and best practices.
• Actively participate in research, audits, or clinical trials, if applicable, to advance medical knowledge and improve patient care.
• Administrative and Operational Duties:
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including history, examination findings, treatment plans, and progress notes in the hospital’s electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards of medical practice.
• Manage time effectively to meet patient care demands, including on-call duties and emergency coverage as required.
Job Requirements:
• Qualifications: MBBS and MD in Medicine or DNB from a recognized institution.
• Experience: At least 2 years of post-PG experience in internal medicine, with demonstrated expertise in critical care and ICU management.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic tests (ECG, 2D Echo, ABG, X-rays, CT scans, Doppler studies, etc.) and applying results to patient care.
• Competence in performing critical care procedures and managing emergencies.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities, with a collaborative approach to healthcare delivery.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
