Are you a dynamic Chemical Engineer with a passion for batch manufacturing and a knack for leadership? 

We’re seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join our growing team in Bengaluru. In this role, you’ll be a key player in optimizing our multi-product production processes, driving efficiency, and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. You’ll report directly to the Production Manager.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has:

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Chemical Engineering from a well-regarded institution, demonstrating a strong academic background. (Please note: Correspondence degrees will not be considered.)
  • Proven Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on production experience, specifically within multi-product batch manufacturing environments in the Lubrication, Oil, Grease, or broader Chemical industry. This must include:
    • In-depth knowledge of chemical processes, reactions, and kinetics.
    • Practical experience with high-temperature and high-pressure reactions.
    • A strong understanding of process hazard analysis (PHA) and HAZOP studies.
  • System Savvy: Solid familiarity with ISO/IATF quality management systems and experience working with ERP systems.
  • Leadership Potential: A natural leader with the ability to manage and motivate a team of 5-7 workmen.
  • Age Profile: Between 26 and 30 years old.

Your Impactful Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Operational Excellence:
    • Driving Production: Take ownership of daily production schedules, ensuring all batches are manufactured efficiently and on time, adhering to strategic plans.
    • Process Mastery: Oversee critical batch operations, from base oil charging to following precise SOPs/batch cards, utilizing both manual and DCS control systems.
    • Equipment Management: Effectively manage and troubleshoot pumps and filters, ensuring smooth operational flow.
    • Safety & Quality Champion: Implement and uphold stringent GMP, TPM, CIP, and 5S principles, aiming for zero spillage and a consistently safe working environment.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Guidance & Development: Lead, train, and inspire your production team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Interdepartmental Synergy:
    • Seamless Coordination: Act as a vital link between Production, Purchase, Planning, and Sales to ensure synchronized activities.
    • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Warehouse/Stores, and other departments to guarantee timely actions and an uninterrupted production process.
