About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior ETABS Modeler to join our structural engineering team. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in developing accurate structural analysis models using ETABS for RCC and steel structures.
The role involves structural modeling, coordination with design engineers and BIM teams, and ensuring high-quality project delivery within timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate 3D structural analysis models in ETABS based on structural drawings and design inputs.
- Create and maintain structural models for RCC and steel buildings, including residential, commercial, industrial, and high-rise projects.
- Update and revise ETABS models as per design changes and client comments.
- Coordinate closely with Structural Design Engineers, BIM Modelers, Detailers, and Drafting teams to ensure model accuracy and consistency.
- Perform model validation by checking geometry, member properties, load assignments, load combinations, and structural connectivity.
- Generate model reports, quantities, and analysis outputs as required by the design team.
- Coordinate with Revit/BIM teams to ensure smooth integration between analytical and BIM models.
- Maintain organised project documentation, model revisions, and version control.
- Support project teams during client discussions, design coordination meetings, and technical reviews whenever required.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned modeling tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Mentor junior ETABS modelers and provide technical guidance on modeling best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest ETABS features, BIM workflows, and industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering preferred).
- 4–8 years of experience in ETABS structural modelling.
- Advanced proficiency in ETABS is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SAFE, STAAD Pro, RCDC, and MS Office will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of RCC and steel structural systems and construction methodologies.
- Ability to interpret structural GA drawings, framing plans, and engineering details accurately.
- Familiarity with IS Codes and structural engineering terminology.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within scheduled timelines.

- Experience working with reputed structural design consultancies.
- Exposure to high-rise and large-scale commercial or residential building projects.
- Experience working in BIM-based project environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality structural models.
